Adaptation proposal

A · Faithful to the source's premise, transposed into an AI world

Adaptation note

Faithful to the source's original premise — a disguise only has to be believed once, and even a cautious traveler can find real danger wearing a trusted shape — transposed directly into an AI world: a young courier's first solo delivery is intercepted by an entity that spoofs the destination node's identity, and only a genuine gap in shared history exposes it.

    Vermeil's Route

A young courier's first solo delivery is intercepted by something wearing her destination's identity, certificate and all. Every rule she'd been given said it had already passed. Only a memory nobody else could fake gave it away.
